Founder and Occupational Therapist
Emma, Master of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Health Science
Emma is a bright and friendly Occupational Therapist who has a passion for helping children succeed.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Sydney in 2013.
With over 8 years of experience working in the disability sector, Emma has worked in large non-government organisations most of her career. During her career she has worked as a Senior Occupational Therapist.
Emma has extensive experience in working with children with neuro-disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autistic spectrum disorder and developmental delays. She is qualified and experienced in a range of standardised assessment tools, and evidence-based intervention approaches.
Emma is a proud Wiradguri woman who believes in providing culturally sensitive and inclusive Occupational Therapy Intervention to families in the local area.
Emma founded Unique Kids Therapy in 2019 as a way to deliver high-quality, goal-directed Occupational Therapy services to children and families in the Penrith and lower Blue Mountains areas. She loves working with babies and children with disabilities to be able to support them and their families to lead happier, more inclusive lives.
